Default just watched an inspiring doc on discovery channel

not a gay themed documentry so dont expect many if any replies but what the hell, i'll post anyway.

just watch a documentry on discovery channel called Ice Man-the Lewis Pugh story.
He's swam a kilometre in the Arctic waters in just speedos n cap just to highlight the plight of the poles and to help science study the body in extreme cold water,

personally thought he was mad as no one has ever survied in water temperatures so cold for so long, what inspired me was he drive to complete the task, at times he pushed his body to collapse and still never gave up....was even moving to watch.

he took along a relative of Roald Amundson as someone to push him into never giving up by having such a Norwigean looking on (apparently they are the top guys in the snow) - he used some russian cold water divers too to help him train - those guys are super tough.. very emotional to watch, and i dont now how he manged it.

all in it was very inspiring to watch - i hope i can take something from watchin his efforts, makes me feel a bit humble right now -

Thats my girly moment out of the way - hope someone else gets to watch it

If I get a chance to watch it I will sounds like a brilliant inspiring documenty . I love anything like that . I remember being inspired by watching a series about the guy who cycled round the world and he pushed himself so hard especially in the Austalian outback . After completing the challenge he later went on to cycle from the U.S ( climbing the highest peak in North America) to Chile ( and then proceeded to climb the highest peak in South America ) then cycled on to cape horn . Unbelievable what the human body can endure if determined . Though not quite sure about the sub zero temperatures in a pair of speedos ! I wouldn't want my manhood getting frost bitten and falling off lol
