hi well if you are exposed every day and in every way to antigay forces and thoughts they rubb of on you
and he may have and is still denieing to himself about being gay
also the religions in asia are usaly in someway ansestor worship and to make his family and other asians
lose face it is a very complaceted thing that the culture instills in theyr young.
not too long ago it was almost as bad here do you know why san fransisco became "the gay capatol"
in the 16th to 19 centry thts where the nation put there gay relatives in exile because it was as far away
from the east coast and they wernt likely to meet any of their old freinds and your familywould then have its scandal reviled to the world. The relatives were alot of the time presented in san fransisco under a diffrent
name so no mater howmuch scandel they produce it won't affect the family.
and that was occuring in 1950 still

I would give him time, if I were you. Just like many people here said, he comes from a completely different background; I know that in some Asian countries, some folks even disown their sons when they find out that their son is gay. So, in my opinion, the best methods are "time" and "talk".

Disowning isn't just an Asian culture thing.... Sad to say.
