F*****g stupid c*****g birthday

Twas my birthday yesterday. 23.

I hate my fucking birthdays. Nothing to do with gettng older (though perhaps in the future it will be) but for that fact that no bastard in the world seems to want to make any effort about it.

Every birthday I have is a fucking flop. On my 18th I invited about 50 people from college out around town - the majority said they were coming. 2 people turned up. On my 21st I invited about 20 people out for a meal. 2 (different) people turned up On my 12th I invited the whole school class, plus a few more to a party at my house. 5 turned up. Today, as it was my birthday yesterday, I had arranged meal out. I had asked about 15 people, 4 are away which is fine. 10 had said yes, I booked a resteraunt for 10 people. Through the day they have all gradually dropped out with one excuse or another until now there are 4 people, including me. I don't feel that I'm unpopular, just that my birthdays are.

I feel like crying and just cancelling the whole night. The resteraunt asked if it was a special occasion. 'Yes, my birthday'. Now I have to call and tell them that I don't want half the table that was booked.

May i personally give you a BUG HUG. I know what it is like having no one turn up at birthdays i learnt to be a very independant person through this where overtime people just distanced from me because i wasnt the norm... Well do what i do and say fuck em who cares enjoy the night for yourself.. My birthday is on the 19th of jan and am I going to bother inviting people??? Like fuck am I its same old year in year out work was on about it and going on about having a piss uo at the end of january after payday for my birthday.. That isnt a birthday that is a fucking payday piss up.. Best thing you can do is invite a few selected friends and say look if i book a table at a resturant would you be interested in joining me for a birthday meal at xxxxxxxx located on xxxxxx ? I know on my birthday my boyfriend and I are going to go out to a buffet where its £4.50 a meal and then afterwards we going to be coming home and chilling out.. Dont be upset babes about them not turning up just maybe class them as aquatancies because friends who are true friends wouldnt let one another down... If they say they are going to turn up then they turn up!!!

Honestly, even thought it is hard to understand... ya dont need those people. It is obvious but what gets me is that folk dont even just make the effort these days... it is like pulling teeth to get people to just be human to one another

My 22nd was really shit too, apart from seeing my 3 year old nice for the day but my mates took to 12 that night to tell me to come out lol!
