Are bottoms alot more effeminate looking than tops?

Also can you tell what a gay guy is a top or a bottom, just by looking at him. e.g. I would think the likes of Gok Wan, Grahame Norton or Julian Clary were bottoms, whereas Rupert Everatt looks more like a top.

Can you tell looking at a gay couple, which one is the bottom and which one is the top?

I would say on a lot of occasions yes, the more masculine is the typical topper.
But it isn't always the way.

in my opinion, someone's look does not determine whether he is top or bottom. i am ultra masculine & my preference is to bottom. i consider myself 50/50 versatile, but top a whole lot more than bottom. it mostly depends on the guy i am with & our chemistry

so true, in my relationship everyone think im the top and hes the bottom because well my partner is rather femme, but that not the case :P It just depends in all honestly every relationship, person work differently.

That is not always the case. Actually, I have met many effeminate guys who are great tops. The general belief, and I stress belief, is that effeminate guys are mostly bottom and yet I have met many, many straight looking man that enjoyed it both ways.
Also, statistically, 1 out of 5 gay men do not have any type os sexual intercourse on a regular basis which gives you an indication that there is more variety in sex than just fucking or being fucked.
