Default Nick names?

If the derogatory term for women is fag-hag, (that I keep hearing), then what do you call the gays who actually pursue (and very much enjoy) having their straight women friends around? They should have a name, too.

Still fag-hag - but said with a smile

You are not alone in the distaste the word leave in your mouth. [Only registered members can see links. ]

As such I use the term - Gal-pal and Gay-pal.

Fag Hag....derogatory??? HUH?

I have only used the term affectionatly. For instance my staff at work, we have a wonderful working relationship and a strong friendship, the girls I call my 'Fag Hags' and the guys I call my 'Bitches'...of course we spend most of the day taking the piss out of each other so I cop it a good as I dish it out.

Often our days end with us rolling on the floor in tears.

I've always known male "hags" as "fag stags" personally.

I try not to use the "F" word though (one of the few words I hate with a passion)

I affectionately call my straight female friends though my "flame dames"

I don't use the term "fag hag"...it is dismissive and offensive. I respect the women in my life too much to use that term....so consequently I offer nothing to call the men.

I call the women in my life "friends".

PS...I despise the "F" word.

I've never really thought of "fag hag" as derogatory. I thought it was meant to be humorous. As an opposite, hag fag works for me.

I guess it might be humorous to some people. I heard alot of people use it over the years. None of the women in my life would find it humorous. I don't think I have ever used the term myself.

Do they need a label other than "friends"?
