Please do tell us how it came out and what reaction you got.Of course, if your parents didn't suspect at all, they will be in shock for a while. Maybe you need to give them time to get adjusted to the idea?

Welcome Mister David! Congratulations on your courageous decision to come out. If coming out was easy to do, then there'd be no actual need to do it, know what I mean? Like Pellaz said, your sexuality is nothing new to you, not so much to your family. You just need to show them that nothing else has changed. This isn't a new you, it's the real you. If they're not taking it easy, then just know they'll come around with time. Just be strong and know you got a great community here who understands exactly what you're going through.
