A Brand New Day
#1
Hi, my name is Matt, I lived in Australia and then moved here, got married and lived a relatively stable family life until one day, I couldn't run from myself anymore. I denied myself for so long, that conflict split me in two, one person who 'had to do what was expected' of him and the other who wanted to form relationships with the same sex as myself. I had come to this point after nearly 30 years of denial, distance from my parental family was the catalyst for this change, as they are firmly Roman Catholic, not a good addition to an already volatile mix of anti-homosexual views and the expression of feelings within the family.

So, here I am. Having already explained to my spouse (or soon to be ex) what I have been going through, she has been encouraging of the need to 'explore' this 'issue' despite the fact I'd been verbally battered through a series of storms of anger. The marriage was already on rocky ground, and other things had been in the picture, including problems at work and another man satisfying the wife. That is not to say I've not been a saint either, with porn surfing and a solitary webcam session on MSN Messenger resulting in mutual masturbation and a dildo being produced and inserted into his ass for me to see. For me, it is a brand new day.

I just wanted to comment on this. The way you phrased it sounded like you are slightly ashamed of what you have been doing or consider is slightly sinful. (maybe its just your religious backround hanging around)

Absolutely nothing wrong with that, it is perfectly natural, you should be proud of being able to accept and express what ever floats your boat. (providing its not harming anyone)

I say a toast to new experiences.
