Boyfriend having doubts? I think it was my fault.
#1
So last week my boyfriend and I were talking and he admitted he is having doubts. To get into more detail. We are going to hit our 6 months. Which is a milestone I think. I kind of told him I wanted to know if he was 100% in or out. I think that scared him because during our talk he says he loves me, and would be heartbroken if he lost me, but he is not ready to make that decision. Was I asking to much? I never said get married. But I just wanted to know of there was a possible end. He said he is scared because he is 20 and this could be his last run at a relationship. But he wants me. He says every day he loves me. It's almost like he gets doubts when we are apart.

He's 20, you sorta come off sounded like you wanted to know if he wanted to get married, versus was interested in marriage at some point in the future (that he wanted to settle down in what 2-8 years?) Just my opinion.

And let him know there are 52 year olds out here that are making runs at new relationships. You are never too old to find someone to love.

Which of course I never said that. Yes I think that is the point of being in a relationship. But we are not there yet. Nonetheless I just didn't want to waste my time on a relationship that could end. Idk I almost wanted to give him an out before getting to serious.

As someone about to turn 20, I think we all want to have the ups and downs of dating. It sounds like he really loves ya but is unsure if his ready to settle for one. Give him some time to think or maybe think about trying an open relationship for a while. But just let him make his mind up and be there for him, Good luck

I know for a fact he does love me. And I agreed to take things a little slower and not make him make a decision yet. But I don't believe in open relationships.

Sadly, you can't predict if something will end or not. You can only try your best to make it work. Feelings and people change.

I find his comment a bit exaggerated. At 20 he has barely begun living.
