My expectations are definitely high.

The two best shows ever were Six Feet Under and Carnivale IMO...

Both Breaking Bad and The Sopranos are well written...well acted...excellent cast

Both have a lot of gratuitous violence...

Breaking Bad is raw and realistic ...and very disturbing. If that is your thing...it excels.

I have watched them both and both are worthy of the praise they receive

OMG I just saw the first episode of Breaking Bad and I am impressed, it really is as good as they say.

I wanted not to like it because I love being alone against the crowd but this is wonderful, better than tuna souffle and raspberry bavarois.

I loved the purity of Breaking Bad, it is what you could describe as a minimalist story: no fireworks, no great visual effects, no production design (the episode took place in a desert), just good actors and great writing.

I can't wait to see episode #2. Smile
