I can remember one trip to the mall with my mother in the late sixties when we spent the entire time wrangling over double knits. I said NO. She wanted me to try them on. More NO. Could not find the cotton khakis I wanted.

I don't want to thumb thru the slides (again), but is this the list with many pics out of a knitting magazine? The 70s were bizarre enough without those atrocities. I've never seen men's jumpsuits outside of these ads.
I remember the 70s in men's clothes being wide; wide lapels, wide ties, wide pant legs. Polyester everything, corduroy-velvet suits and pants, open shirts w chest-hair. Sideburns, porn-staches, comb-overs, hair over the ears.

lol ..... they could be adverts for 70s gay porn films too - whats with all the knitted cardigans - was it fashion or could you actually make these yourself too

when we were little and coming from a Scottish family in the 70s me and my cousins were all dressed up like this lol - no wonder I turned out gay
