The definition of haiku started with the syllabic count, but another trait that is commonly overlooked is that the first and second lines usually present a juxtaposition, and the third line ties them together.

If you only take in to accont the 5, 7, 5 syllable rule, anyone can make up a pretty crass haiku. The art is making it really meaningful.

I think that this one is good:

On her breast I lay
Never come the waking light
Lie content to breathe
