Have yourself a politically correct Christmas... or not
#1
The Hallmark company recently came out (:p) with this lovely holiday sweater ornament, switching the word 'fun' for 'gay' in the traditional lyrics.

Of course, this resulted in some unwanted criticism leading to a quick apology, and a response from comedians like John Stewart and .

Nothing like the holidays to bring out a little "well-intended" intolerance!

Btw, I loved a series of books by Garner on "politically correct fairy tales," including ones for Christmas:

Just to be clear they're intended as comedy.

There is nothing wrong with "gay apparel." The only word opprobrium we should concern ourselves with is with the idiots who intentionally make the word "gay" a negative adjective.
Christmas is one of my all-time favorite pagan holidays, don't ruin it for me.

They didnt change the word to piss people off and make a "statement"....they did it as a promotional item for having a "fun" holiday.

Really.

Tell the truth, what would you think if their gimmicky slogan this year was
"Have a gay holiday"????

This is not the first time Hallmark has changed words to fit their C'mas yearly "theme" or gimmick.....and NOBODY had problems with it before!!!!!

SOOOO many fuckwits, SOOOO few bullets.

By they year 2025, NOBODY will be able say ANYTHING to ANYBODY without some brain dead douchebag throwing a fucking tantrum, that would make any 3 year old applaud!!! Say "hi" to someone and get your ass SUED for it!!!!

Get a fucking life.
