My boyfriend was raped by his ex...

I can only answer for Blue Cross Blue Shield Centennial.
Name brand medications have a $3 co-pay... and so do two other things I never use.

It does, however, vary. Here in new mexico there are several old insurance companies that adopted parts of the Affordable Care Act and devised "new" policies which the state pays for.

I know that here the competitors have different prices, and even different stuff a co-pay is made on.

Transportation: There are buses? No?

Failing that, I know with Blue Cross/Glue Shield I was assigned a coordinated care giver who amongst other things can arrange transport for me to and from any doctor's appointment, lab or test.

And there there is the 'sun van' I think its $2.00, but you call 24+ hours ahead to schedule a pick-up drop off.

So this is what his mother must do. She must figure out the time to go to the human resources department (Welfare office) and apply for benefits, which would include food stamps and Obama care - least ways in most states.

I say go because apparently the government has never learned how to use the internet (except to surf for porn). Every government program I have tried using over their internet site has problems. So going down to the office is the most logical thing.

Now she can check online about what programs are available. As for medical: http://www.legalconsumer.com/obamacare/?...ando&ST=FL appears to be a good starting point. At least I would use it to get an idea of what kinda heapa trouble I'm heading for - then of course go down to the inhuman resources department.

A little reality here. You are 16, he is 16. You are both technically and legally NOT adults. Your combined forces gets you a burger meal at your fast food joint, assuming you have the money for that meal.

Kids just don't get respect, and if YOU start snopping, it can lead to troubles for parents, and who ever else is involved.

This "rape" issue needs to be discussed with his legal parent/guardian. She is the only person legally liable for his welfare and all of this other stuff.
