You know i think my favourite sci-fi series would be farscape
The show was about a human astronaut getting sucked into a wormhole then crashing into a prison space-ship full of escaped alien convicts. They run through space having all sorts of wacky,grisly, grim adventures. It's less well known because farscape was like the monty python of sci-fi they pushed the envelope waay waay waaaaaay out there. Sometimes that meant the filler episodes were garbage because they went too weird. But most episodes were great. Compelling character arcs interesting aliens and sci-fi technology. Some heart wrenching drama too. Unfortunately no real LGBT content though just a couple throwaway lesbian seduction scenes and one comic relief fem gay guy. |
