Sleep aboard a 747 in Stockholm
#1
A friend of mine who shares my interest in aviation history shared this link, which I may have seen before but forgot about.

A former Pan Am 747 (Clipper Belle of the Skies) is now used as a hostel on the grounds of the Arlanda International Airport in Stockholm. The cockpit and "black box" area in the tail are suites with private bathroom, but the bulk of the guests stay in single cabins with shared bath and a typical shared hostel situation. There is a bar and cafe in the former first class cabin on the main deck.

I think it would be worth experiencing once, either on your way in or out of the country, but I couldn't see staying longer than that, due to tiny rooms and distance from the city.

Actually Arlanda is only about 20 minutes by direct hi speed rail into the city...I would do it for one night...but much preferred staying in the old town area.....
