Strip Clubs
#1
So my friends keep texting me, asking me if I’m going out with them to the strip club tonight and I really don’t want go. I personally freakin hate the strip club, I find the whole strip club situation to be extremely uncomfortable. I have only been once back when I first turned 18 and really hated the whole experience. I spent most of the night looking anywhere but stage with the dancing girls, which was strange for me cause when I was 18 I was like way into boobs. It really wasn’t the naked women making uncomfortable it was just the pure weirdness the strip club brings.

What weirdness you say well first off I’m in a dark room with 2 types of men the super drunk and rowdy guy or the super creepy guy that been there since 2 in the afternoon and everyone is drinking and I’m not, an I really don’t know what else to say……I just did not like it. In fact I walked out after the second stage dance because I just didn’t want to be there in a big bad way.

I have never been to one.
Nor am i interested in the slightest.

It seems a bit like......watching porn, but you can't do that thing, and you are sitting with a load of other horny guys. Watching something that just doesn't match up to things on the internet. Just embarrassing......
Sure you could say that you saw a hot girl's/guy's body in person instead of on a computer monitor, but does that really make much diffrence?

I am saying this with gay strip clubs in mind........wait a sec.....silly question....but is there such thing as gay strip club? I have NEVER heard such mentioned anywhere........

Haha, I can totally relate... I went when I was 18 and a couple times during my early 20's in Vegas... They were straight clubs, and I only did it to front being straight. It was always completely awkward and uncomfortable... and I remember thinking to myself, "this is not where I want to be". I didn't care to see the women displayed as sexual objects...

I don't know if I'd be able to make similar claim while at a gay strip club... ;-)

I don't think you need to force yourself to go. I know the friends' pressure is probably strong. Maybe you can tell them that you've reassessed the whole thing and don't enjoy women being on display like cattle. Ask them if they'd like to see their sisters, (or wives) or mothers on display like that... and see if they see your point. You don't have to tell them that you are NOT interested in the female form (especially if you were into boobs, as you said). They may call you a PUSSY, and they are being PUSHY, only one letter's difference. I mean, it's not as if going to the strip club is going to get any of them laid, is it?

As a sideline, you might offer some other kind of entertainment to diffuse the tension of getting squeezed into a situation you don't enjoy, like the Bowling Alley? cinema? just to ease off pressure... Give them an alternative. Not having an alternative will put more pressure on you, unless you can just be your lazy self and can't be bothered. Saying you can't afford it will / might get you an invitation, but won't let you off the hook.

I took the simpler route , I just ignored the text completely an stayed home and played Fallout.

Good and interesting poll, Timmy. I never been to one and I doubt I'll go to one anytime soon.

I'll never been to one and I doubt I will ever go.
I'm pretty sure I won't enjoy the atmosphere.

That's probably my reason as well. I don't think I'll get great vibes in a strip club. Strip clubs are more of a straight dude thing, in my opinion. If I was straight, I would feel the same way about strip clubs.

I've never been, and the thought of going does not scare me, I think I might enjoy it too much...lol.
