Well..

I hopped on a plane and I am in Florida now..

Good luck with your testicles seeking shelter in your abdomen..

Giant hugs.

And moments later, this appeared on my Facebook feed:

Just over 25 inches of snow in Central Park, the 3rd highest total ever.

My area could see anywhere up to 30 inches by the end of the storm.

You guys!

I have plenty of WD 40.

What I need is an occasion to use it.

Tried shoveling the side walk today but the wind was just to brutal, I will have to do it tomorrow and probably have a heart attack, It is one of those wet heavy snows,

Spent the whole day digging. My dude, who is not a huge fan of manual labor, worked like a plow horse. We have piles of snow taller than we are on both sides of the driveway. If it snows again I have no idea where we're gonna put it.

At 3pm our neighbor texts me "I'll snow-blow your driveway when I get home from work."

I am honestly jealous of all of you who got all the snow , I was hoping the huge snow storm would get to the UK at least a little....it has now but with only wind and rain - its just not the same...I need a snowball fight before the summer comes

Living in Maine, snow like that happens and is no big deal. Hell I would still be expected to drive into work, and I would with no issue.

That being said, we are used to it, we have the plow trucks, the sanding trucks, most people own snowblowers, and can white knuckle in their sleep.

I'm just glad this storm missed us completely, and I didn't have to clean up another storm.

Not as exciting as the pictures taken on Satuday, but I happened to be pretty high up in the Empire State Building this morning around 8 and this was the view.
The streets are miserable as white snow turns to black slush though.
