That's probably why I'm single.

Are you looking for a boyfriend, or a sandwich? In my humble opinion, I think you would be happier, and may not be single much longer, if you stopped looking at a potential mate as some creepy commodity designed specifically to please you. Focus your energy on giving love, rather than waiting around for the right looking guy to start giving you love.

And give up my pursuit of a British-Japanese reasonably long-haired, slim and shy dreamboy? No way.

This is exactly why I've resolved only to have make believe relationships in my head. No one can compare with who I've dreamed up. And coincidentally, he always wants to do exactly what I want to do. I'm really lucky to have found him, er... created him.

Though I do get funny looks from strangers when we talk. And after a couple of bad experiences, we've decided that kissing in public is definitely not worth it.

I can relate to your suffering. I just hope I live long enough for the technology needed to create realistic-looking androids to become a part of everyday life that anyone from middle-class and up can afford. Then I'll create the most appealing personality out of them all, with the look of a 25 year old Japanese guy, voice of Morgan Freeman and behaviour of a loving romanticist.

It's not artificial if I can't tell the difference ^_^

The dream of the android is what motivates me to get up in the morning. I have a theory that every major advancement in technology throughout human history was driven by the desire to have sex without the complications of involving another person. Printing press = for porn (and the bible, but what's the diff?). Photography = for better porn. Cars = to drive to see the porn. Lightbulbs = to see the porn better.

The sex robot will be the pinnacle of human achievement, and once it becomes a reality, we as a species can finally look at each other and say, "well.... I guess that's it. Now we can finally stop trying. Now let's all go into our houses and never come out again!"

P.S.

I'm stealing your "it's not artificial if I can't tell the difference" line. Thank you.

P.P.S.

If Kiid finally has a cape, there's no reason you can't find a Morgan Freeman sounding Japanese fellow with reasonably long hair. I'm rooting for you.

HAH. I have the same mindset but only with robots. It just raises so many interesting questions! For example, should you allow the production of pre-pubescent-looking sexdroids and distribute them? It sounds immoral but it would hardly hurt anyone. It would make the world a more uncomfortable place but it's hard to question with logic.

And don't worry, being stolen from is a great honour.

Well now, this may really veer this thread way off topic but, if it proves that the production of pre-pubescent-looking sexdroids reduces the amount of kids getting hurt, then it's a must, as uncomfortable and creepy as it is.

Creepy debates are the most interesting ones. Although I made the thread off-topic. Sorry about that! Leaving the thread permanently now!

I think considering where it's going, that's not a bad idea. Me too!

Wade and SolemnBoy out!

Don't act like we're a team it hurts my "mysterious radical loner" sex appeal.
