as part of my treatment for depression I changed my diet and lifestyle completely, so I found a couple of new hobbies, cooking and Gyming.

One of my biggest problems was I gave up smoking 4 years ago so I put on a lot of weight, my slim frame of 60-62kg ballooned to 90kg. I was unhealthy and unhappy.

I also have tried my hand back at making fishing rods, something that I did a lot of in my youth, but I have a lot of catching up to do, technology has changed so much in making fishing rods to the point that it is almost a science.

My mom was the same way, after my dad died she ballooned up to 266lbs (about 120kg, I think). For a while everyone figured her depression was due to grief, but then some of her girlfriends got worried and started dragging her to the gym and getting her to eat a healthy diet. The change has been pretty awesome. Shesays the best diet AND health advice she got was, Eat Real Food.

Same thing happened to me. I quit smoking over two years ago and put on a bit of weight, 248 lbs was my heaviest. Now I have lost some of the weight and right now my problem is just finding a routine and good company and being able to afford "real" food. I did quit drinking soda and here in a few weeks it will have been a year since I quit drinking that.

I kind of wished that smoking wasn't so damn bad for you, or stunk to high heaven... Neither the smoking or the weight gain is good for you. I can tell you here in the winter time it is hard to stay motivated, even more so when you don't feel well... Like I have had a headache for the last 2-3 days and I just don't feel like jogging 3 miles on a treadmill because of it.

The other thing I have found with biking with the bike group and trying to do things with people is a lot people, particularly those who have been running, swimming or biking for years are all smug as shit. Look I don't need someone telling me how fast I should be running or swimming or how I bought the wrong bike when they're sporting a $900 bike and crap. That's NOT what I need or what anyone needs. I don't need to feel pressured to go out and buy a $1,000 bicycle or feel that I need to compete at an elite level.

If I was a millionair or more, I'd buy all the bowling balls I wanted Tongue

Just bought a new ball.

I also have these:
http://www.motivbowling.com/products/bal...al-le.html (got for free, because the original Jackal balls became illegal)
http://www.hammerbowling.com/products/ba...ce/scandal
http://dv8bowling.com/balls/freakshow
http://dv8bowling.com/balls/grudge-hybrid/
(The dv8 balls glow at disco bowling)

This one isn't allowed to use at league bowling anymore, they broke some limit rule:

One can still use it for practice, but why bother.

This is the first ball I bought

Was shit.

Would love to get these:
If I was rich.

http://www.motivbowling.com/products/bal...cobra.html (this one looks so amazing. Maybe I'll get it just to have it XD)

Just to give them another chance.

Storm owns Roto Grip.

It's like this:
Brunswick owns DV8. DV8 is just in another state than Brunswick. And Radical.
Storm owns Roto Grip and 900 Global
Ebonite aka EBI owns Hammer, Track and Columbia 300.
Independents are:
Motiv
There's a few more, but not worth mentioning Tongue
So if you ever get into bowling and watch a tournament, and wonder why a person with Hammer on their shirt is using a ball by Ebonite, it's because they can use any ball from a company owned by Ebonite. Or a roto Grip or Storm guy can use balls from those 2 companies.
Jason Belmote who bowls for Storm uses Roto Grip balls a lot.

Ibex I wish someone would have taken the time to teach me how to bowl. Both my dad and grandpa bowled, won awards in their league. Me... I need guards and a prayer each frame. Tried to talk someone into bowling a while back and ended up doing something else... In hindsight probably should have went bowling.
