Words of wisdom . . .
#1
Children can sometimes take your breath away:

A veterinarian recently reported in his blog that he had to put a dog "to sleep" as it was suffering from terminal cancer. Concerned that the six-year-old owner might not fully appreciate what was happening, he asked the boy if he understood why dogs don't live as long as humans. The boy replied:

"People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?".

Then he continued:

"Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long".

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!
Love the bittersweet in life most of all...

You know, when you cultivate such an attitude and perspective, all the "heavy" stuff about pain and hurt and death, etc. is MUCH easier to embrace. This is the stuff of thriving in life peeps! Thanks for this post Monk!!!Remybussi
