Transsexuality
#1
It seems like all the threads discussing transsexuality have been closed for the moment. I thought this would be a good thing to watch as an eye opener. Of course one would need to see the whole film / documentary to get a better idea; Hope this whets your appetite to know more and understand better.
I dedicate this to Spencer and Ryan, ... (there are many more of you here, but I don't know you all)

It is over 1000 times more likely that a transgender person will be murdered than a cisgender person. Transgender Day of Remembrance is meant to bring awareness to this alarming statistic through memorializing the dead.

Are we still living in the Middle Ages? :frown:

Thanks PA!

It's not everyday you see a non-trans person sticking up for trans people. I really appreciate it.

not to sound stupid or anything, but what exactly is a "cisgender"?

Cisgendered is the opposite of transgendered.
Cisgendered the mind matches the body.
Transgendered the mind and body don't match.

This number is shocking... how can people still be doing this kind of stuff to their own kind???

Thanks, Spencer, I know you need support as we all do in this crazy world. I try to treat my fellow men (and women) as other human beings. But the things they say and do sometimes make you cringe (and almost ashamed to be another human being).
