Hank, when I came out to my mom and dad (at 21) I was verbally abused on the topic for years. 15 years later I got the 'I guess you're ok' speech. Frankly, for me - I was so hurt and scared by my initial coming out to my parents that I don't even wish to talk to them anymore, and I haven't in years. I truly am very happy that isn't the case for you.
