Our town only has 450 people. My nearest neighbor is about 1 mile away. But it turns out we're not the only gay couple. Our handy man (straight) introduced my partner Brad to the other local gay couple.

Since there are no bars (gay or straight) nearby, there is an informal gay social group that has weekly get togethers. They meet every Sunday at a different persons house for dinner and socialization. It's a mixed group of gay and straight couples.

Mostly an older group but I would say the ages range mid 30's on up. I'm real happy that Brad found this group. It's nice finally having some friends in town.

Never know.

We have alot of free thinkers (for the lack of a better term) in our county. Mostly cattle ranchers around us but there are 2 hippy comunes, 1 gay campground, and a couple survivalist groups nearby. Most everyone is trying to get off the grid.
