The corpse of a peacock doesn't decay (well, at least for a long time I believe). That's why peacocks were considered as sacred birds - symbols of eternity.

Jimi Hendrix was a Viola player, before he picked up the Guitar. Wink

Beethoven wasn't born deaf despite popular belief, but lost his hearing around his 5/6 Symphony.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had a sister, Nannerl[Maria Anna Mozart], who was an accomplished Harpsichordist, but wasn't allowed to pursue a Musical career past 13/14 due to it being the age of marriage for a girl and so was not as famous as her brother.

~

Drums were considered an impure instrument, and so was banned from the church, being deemed "Secular".

~

Church music was originally, and still is mostly written in 3's[triple meter], due to the concept of; The Father, The Son & The Holyghost, forming a holy Trinity. Anything else was unholy and secular.

~

Music is one of the oldest languages and the most universal, with Art coming a close second.

~

Vocal music was considered more important than Instrumental music, until the 1800's, as this was the time when more people were practicing Instrumental music.

~

Chamber Music is also known as "house music", due to it being played in one's home.

~

Apollo was a major god in the eyes of early Muscians, as he was God of Music, along with many other attributes[such as healing].

~

Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky was the only known Gay composer to become famous, though he suffered from his homosexuality and died at 53, possibly of suicide.

He also wrote well known popular works, such as; The Sugar Plum Fairy, The Nutcracker Suite, Dance of the Reed Pipes, Beauty and the Beast, Swan Lake and the 1812 Overture.

Those who practice music outside of the church, were considered Secular and therefore unholy. Even today's practice of music, is majoritively Secular, though no one is bothered by it as much anymore.

Did you know;

Turtles, along with other reptilians, are considered to be some of the oldest creatures still in existance.

The Grey White Shark wasn't always the top predator and used to be prey to the much larger Shark known as the Megalodon, though now is extinct.

~

Rat's are one of the most prolific mammals and are one of the hardest to remove/destroy.

~

Dolphins have shown human emotions, such as concern, compassion,empathy and are considered one of the only animals able to.

~

Killer Whales[Orcas] premeditate their attacks and are tacitacally on par with humans.

~

Octopi[The Octopus] are one of the only animals capable of learning and solving complex problems, even going out of the water to do so.

~

Cuttlefish don't see where they're going, as they swim backwards.

~

Starfish can regrow a limb if lost, and it's whole body is covered in "eyes", however microscopic.

~

Sea Urchins have tiny feet that are hidden under the spines.

~

A Platypus is the only Mammal to lay eggs and is considered a misfit. It's also known to "knuckle walk".

~

Most primates are bisexual, most notable is the Bonobo, who regularly and frequently have sexual encounters and are on par with humans when it comes to sexual exploitations.

~

Humans were thought to come from the Sea or have at some point adapted to Sea life, due to the webs on the fingers and toes.
~
