If the site has been busy, though, you don't always see all the new posts and it is impossible to tell with the news threads from the home page unless you remember how many responses there were last time you looked.

Yush I understand as theres so many threads and I can't be bothered to look through the past ones.

However please don't open loads of ones from years ago as it gets confusing since I commented a lot when I first joined Sad Its like HELLO PAST ME!!!!

I learn to love it more and more.

I'm a recently 50-year-old too, and I'm not finding it particularly difficult to navigate here, but then I've been on here for a couple of years... Maybe you just need to stick around a bit, ask a few questions, see what the moderators (or other posters) suggest and get the feel of it gradually... It's like taking on a new piece of software... you're not always very competent straight away, it takes time and practice. Anyway, in case you do decide to stay with us, Welcome to the site, Patric Confusedmile:

Any suggestions??? You can put them to Andy who deals with such things... If they are simplifications that can be made easily and conveniently for most users, I'm sure he'll make them. But can you be more precise about what you'd like or what you find difficult dealing with? It would help to know what you find hard to understand or deal with.

fudger Wrote:I too find it a bit of a maze to navigate around the forum. far too many catagories. I use another forum which uses the exact same format as this and they only have 2 catagories, General and Help, it makes finding threads alot quicker but I guess there are alot more specialist catagories on Gayspeak.

I think we have tried simplifying the categories and numbers of threads before and it was not so easy... Quite honestly, once you get the hang of the site and how it can be used, you find what you're looking for quite easily. The SEARCH and QUICK LINKS in the top bar can be quite useful for new users, I believe.

Easy for you Robertson, but then you are grade-school generation as far as Patric is concerned... lol.
