Decloak? I'd taget that film with full phasers and a barage of photon torpedoes and blow it out of existance!Firedevil

Back on topic, Welcome 72jay! I was wondering when/if you were going to post an introduction.:biggrin:

Quote:hehehe, WoW, a year... gret you came out of the corners...

LOL Well I pretty much am a lurker when it comes to forums (the music
section here could maybe be considered an exception)

There's a couple other sites i lurk on occasionally as well...but i decided to
join here, un, just because LOL

...decloak LOL thats a good one Smile
I do plan to watch that new Star Trek film...but not til its out on DVD

Quote:Welcome 72jay! I was wondering when/if you were going to post an introduction

I figured i should say hi Smile especially since i've made a few other posts

----------------------------------------------------------
Alittle more of a intro than the 'just a hello' i posted last night...
I'm from the US
I'm no doubt starting to get old at 36
I'm single (& always have been...weather thats good or bad i cant say)
And you could say i love music ... the stereo is nearly always on when
i'm at home (and awake LOL). Like allot of different types of music, You
never know what you might hear playing LOL:
(these are in no particular order)
Metal
Rock
Pop
Dance/Club (even tho i've never been to a club)
Techno/Trance/Goa
Alt.Rock
Country
most 80's stuff
In general i'm not a fan of slow mellow stuff or 'elevator music' (ie classical)
or anything with allot of highs in it (like opera)
oh and stuff like reverb/echo processors, surround sound, subwoofers...those are all good thingsSmile

Besides music i also love computers... i started being 'online' back before
the internet was around - at that time it was dialing in to local BBS's
(i'm sure there's a few people here old enough to remember those days??
and know what a BBS is??) I've put together my own systems...done
webpages...made a few simple software programs & even some very simple
custom hardware.

For pets I have a couple fishtanks
.

So ... "a lot of different types" = western popular music from the last 30 or 40 years then Wink

Sorry, my inner bitch speaking :redface:

Welcome ex-lurker, I hope you enjoy being a poster.

Since when did life cease to begin at 40?

As a classical music listener myself I find such comments infuriating, much classical music is neither slow nor mellow, although much is, more importantly it is far too demanding of the listener to be played in an elevator!

yep...somethin like that LOL Smile

because life ends at 30 ... its all down-hill from there

with 'slow mellow stuff' i wasn't intending that to refer to classical, what i
meant to say more so is i don't care for:
* slow/mellow music (in general)
* or classical
* or...
And even tho i call classical and other instrumental musics "elevator music"
I'll also admit that the tinny little speaker in an elevator shouldn't be used
for music (plus nearly every elevator i've ever been in doesn't have music LOL)

Hello and welcome Jay. There are always lurkers on this site, thats why we try hard to keep it nice and civil so perhaps they no longer need to lurk around.
