Do you Smoke?

Sil Wrote:I do... my brand is Lambert & Butler, americans seem to find this kinda funny ^^ they're harsh but heavenly. They used to be the cheap brand until everyone started smoking them Tongue

They sound a bit like what used to be ubiquitous GAULOISES... I've not seen those for sale for a long time. Do they still exist? Every youngster smoking today seems to be smoking the just as ubiquitous MARLBORO brand. In any case, I wish the young would smoke less, and keep their money to buy more interesting things. Such a waste of good health.

Good for you, Ben. It's a terrible habit to have to kick... so many fail to do so in time. I hear you get your sense of taste back pretty quickly. Was that your experience?

It is best to not start at all.

A second class citizen?!!! Oh please do explain this to me!

Probably that thing about having to go and smoke outside, and look like a pariah... We've seen it happen in New York, but it's all over the States now.

Yes Smile I think Gauloises still exist, but only in tobacconists and specialist shops...never had the pleasure but there's some interesting cigarettes - Ziganoffs are jet black along the entire length, Sobrani are the most camp in wonderful rainbow pastel shades ^_^

Marlboro are just the coke of cigarettes, they are huge and from the US and everyone likes them therefore they are good. I've never rated them personally, seem very 'heavy' compared to most. Last point goes without saying, quitting is getting closer and closer.

i dont smoke as i have asthma so it clashes a bit, im not against it though but apart from looking james dean cool then i dont see a plus side = my work place band smokin on premises so all smokers stand out at the back work gates in all weathers - even i argued to provide a shelter for them but to no avail

I've been smoking since 17, and am now 33. Usually 1/2 pack a day here.

No intentions of quitting yet, either. It's my body, I'll do what I want. If you don't like my habit, you don't have to say anything, nor do you have to judge me on it.

And with that, a menthol guy here.

I have never smoked a cigarette. Proud of it! Especially in a place like madrid where it'd be a cold day in hell to not come across cig smoke.
