The tree at home is a "traditional" tree.

I also put up the tree at work, and each year, I would get comments from people regarding "why is it here and not there?", "why the same old decorations?" "Doing something different?"

They all know my dedication to all things Brokeback, so after a few years of these questions, I did a Cowboy Christmas Tree.

Roflmao

I used rope instead of garland, a cowboy hat for a tree topper, and little hats and horses as ornaments.

I expected negative comments, but everyone seemed to like it.

LOL, my cousins, aunts and uncles and my family tend to only exchange gag gifts with each other (saves money when exchanging with distant relatives). The first year we did this, I bought a small x-mas tree and then went to the sex store and bought about 150.00 with of sex novelties and tied them to the tree with ribbon as decorations. My cousin Megan and her husband ended up with it after we played our exchange game.
