Hello from Western NC

I am new to this site. I have tried to post on here several times over the past few days & so far none of them have actually shown up. When I go to my profile it only shows where I replied on one thread, but I have zero threads stated by me. Why are none of my posts or threads actually showing up & what is the general length of time from when you you click "submit New Thread" and when it actually shows up on the wall? I am just not sure if I am going to like this site.
