These people are among the same as those who think the Earth is a flat. They're either as stupid as they seem or they're trolls. I don't know how anyone can think that the mainstream GOP, let alone Trump, is an ally of LGBTQ people. Sure, you might have some republican politicians that might but they're very much in the minority and remember politicians will say anything, anything to get you to vote for them.
