THE POSITION
We are looking for assistance with cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, laundry, pet care, light hosting duties, lawn work, etc. Generally completing the routine household chores and keeping the household running smoothly. Workout partner would be cool too. We have a dog and 2 cats that need some looking after. We periodically host spiritual workshops, rituals, lecture series, sweat lodges, and fundraisers in our home for 10-100+ people. The houseboy/man would help us with hosting, laying out refreshments, set-up, cleanup, etc. The work would amount to 20-25 hours/week.
Ideally, we would also form a caring relationship with our houseboy/man and he would become a member of the extended family, with all that entails.
YOU
Ideally, you are a gay man/boy interested in living as part of a pagan/Wiccan community and looking for a place to start or restart building a stable, successful life for yourself. You enjoy rural, wooded living in an essentially agricultural setting. If you are not Wiccan, you are spiritually accepting and able to roll with a spiritually focused, sexually diverse community. You are looking to make a change in your life and/or just enjoy the idea of running the household for a gay, Wiccan, bearish couple of guys. ;-) You are looking for a stable place to catch your breath and work on advancing your life â be that through schooling or personal study or participation of all the education and stimulation available in a spiritual community. We would prefer someone looking for a longer-term position (a year or two).
COMPENSATION
Room & Board: private, furnished room and meals.
Tuition Assistance: there are several quality community colleges/universities near us, if you want to further your education.
Allowance/salary: negotiable.
Access to all spiritual events, if desired.
Travel with us as possible.
Corny as it sounds, we believe in helping people that need a hand - in this case, gay men that need a change or a leg up, but also believe that help comes with an exchange of service. We are very good mentors. A good houseboy/man is guaranteed to come out of this situation better off than when he came in - with a degree or savings or whatever else we agree to.

We are a bear couple (45 & 47), living a poly, sexually liberal, clothing optional (weather permitting!), and social lifestyle. Jim has an MS and is a public health administrator. Michael is a computer consultant working on his PhD in religious philosophy. We are accomplished, stable, sane, reasonable people. We are both professionals and Wiccan priests within the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel (sacredwheel.org) and help to look after a growing and diverse spiritual community.
WHERE
We live in Georgetown, Delaware on 5 acres of woods within 100 acres of woods owned by our gay, bearish neighbors (our gayborhood!). We live in a geodesic dome house with a large deck, a workout room and a playroom. We have plenty of yard, if you are interested in gardening, etc. We live about 20-30 minutes from Rehoboth Beach (a major gay beach resort area).
