Antivirus going crazy,JS:Redirector-QX[trj]
#11
I am using a Linux machine and that is why I haven't picked up the Trojan Horse message.

BUT I can confirm that on my iPhone and iPad and am getting a security message, and on my spare windows machine with Avast I am getting exactly the same as Mum.

Well I came here directly today and Kapersky sneezed again.

And this is what it said:

Application: Firefox
Object: [url] http://local15pomo./home.php[/ Breaking it rl]
Event: Denied (addy up there^) (analysis using the database of suspicious URLs
Reason: URL found in the data base.

I was lucky enough to click it and get it to stay. I fear I am technologically impaired, I had no idea where to look for this event in the Kapersky program.

Ignore the white bits up there, This site likes to automatically make the addy into a clickable link, I think that may be a bad idea.

Wouldn't it be in Event viewer under computer management?
Not sure just asking BA.

Norton has never notified me of any unauthorised attempts to access my computer. I've checked the security history and it has never detected or eliminated a trojan as far as records go (which would be up to the point I last did a full system restore - about 3 months ago.)

Maybe it's my browser? Does anyone else use Google Chrome?

Event viewer.. Hm and that is where???? :o

Kaspersky 2012 is what I now have, its much different in its format and interface than previous viewers. I click reports and it never shows anything to report. If I click on the pop up that pops up warning me of something, then an 'event viewer' shows up.
I suspect that is really 'reports' as it will list everything that has ever happened by dates. How to get to that from the Kaspersky program I have no idea. I have clicked every point I can see is clickable.

It may be like Windows 8, I just have to know where to hoover the mouse?

I had a weird warning pop up yesterday too when I had just clicked onto GS. Though I had a bunch of other windows open at the same time, so I can't be 100% sure it was from here.

I received a warning as well, two days ago. That was the end of it though as I haven't received anything since. The warning received mentioned something about a failed something... I can't remember, I didn't pay much attention if I'm honest.
