Biphobia
#1
This will be a short post as biphobia is not as common as homophobia (the other post I made).

Whether you were aware of this or not, most of us are not purely one sexuality. Most of us are not purely gay or purely straight. We are in between. According to the Alfred Kinsey Scale, most people have fluidity in their sexuality. Sexual orientation has alot of fluidity in it. Some people believe that being bisexual just means you are gay, but ashamed of your sexual orientation. That is definitely not true and you should not believe that. I myself am bisexual and I like both genders. I like guys sexually, and I like girls for their personality. I have a boyfriend (RoseThorn999) and I will love him forever. Does this mean I am ashamed of my sexuality? Not at all. I just like both genders. Bisexuality does exist.

Society wants us to believe a certain thing, but, that certain thing isn't right. The norm of society believes that all people are straight and if you have feelings for someone of the same sex, that you will burn in hell and you are a sinner. That is not true, do not believe that. God made you the way you are, and God loves you. He wants you to be the person he wants you to be. Be who you are. Do not be afraid of who you are. Love yourself Smile.

I doubt anyone is strictly gay or straight...99.9%, sure, but purely one or the other...nope

But bis maybe easier to target for haters on both sides of the spectrum, cause both sides will argue that bis are simply undecided folks...

I would just call them lucky bastards...hehehe

you people have a larger "market" available to scout

I am not sure that I have ever sworn on this forum.

But I have to do it now.

No offense, but that is absolute fucking bullshit. Biphobia is common among both straight AND gay people. It is extremely common, much more so than homophobia.

And this is coming from a gay guy.

PS- I don't believe in the Kinsey Scale, personally. The idea that most people are not telling the truth about their sexuality (intentionally or not) seems pretty unrealistic to me. Nobody has the right to label other people's sexuality, and Kinsey should not have labeled other peoples' sexualities.

As my friends always say, "Everyone is a little bit bi." Now, accepting that or not depends on that person. I think that everyone probably some sort of crush on men or women once in their lives. It's just that some people, probably calls that a bromance or urr..(i don't know the term for the girls, is it sismance?) Either way, I'm pretty sure people had some sort of sexual or emotional desires to both sexes.

I always thought being bisexual just meant you find both genders sexually appealing and could see yourself falling for someone of either gender. For a while now, I've been debating whether or not I'm bisexual. My whole life I thought I was straight because I liked girls and still do. But recently, I've been finding the sexual appeal in guys and started watching gay porn. It's not like I want to find guys sexually appealing either. I really don't. But I do, at least when it comes to porn. So it seems silly to me that some people say that bisexuals are people who just can't make up their mind. Even if they did make up their mind and stuck with a guy or a girl, they'd still be bisexual because they get sexually excited from both.

I just want to say it's more common then you would think. I can't tell you have many times i've encountered biphobia. It's sickening. It's not taken as seriously i can tell you that.

i think the sort of person who will be homophobic is likely to be bi-phobic as well, i think the only group of peoply who are just bi-phobic are some gay people and some bi people are homophobic.

no straight guy will go out of there way to just hate bi people, its more they hate gays and therefore bis, i dont see why your making it a seperate thing

but nothings certain i guess.

some straight people are just biphobic . for the same reasons that some gay people are biphobic . "bisexuality isn't real - anyone who says they're bi is just confused . bisexual people are just greedy . bisexual people are all just nymphomaniacal sluts. etc"
