I'm not clear what it is you want to be convinced about. GaySpeak is a social forum, not a dating site. Obviously dating could happen but I'd wager that isn't why most of us are here. It's a far flung group of people from all over of various ages, many of the regulars currently in relationships.

I've never heard anyone here say that gay love (or any kind of love) is only for the young --- but I think this may be the wrong place --- GS is a community, not a dating site --- if you want friendship and support and a little whacked out humor, fine --- you'll definitely find that here... hope you decide to stick around
