Disconnected beyond belief at 29
#1
Hi Gay Speakers,

I haven't checked in inawhile. I moved to the suburbs to be closer to work, and now I find myself so alone and lonely out here. I've made some friends at work to hang out with some nights which is fine. But i've also been talking to old boyfriends for support so i've got like 5 guys i've been talking to and rationalizing that this is all okay.

Has anyone had to discover this kind of loneliness? I want to replace the loneliness feeling with something else, but i've never had to do this and i feel like an undiscovered part of my personality is coming out ,and its just freaky. Like i've repressed this for so long but I feel like just my calm lifeless personality is coming out and i'm changing somehow. Is this maturity? Or do I need to move to a more social area that i love?

Any experience or advice would help me so much. How do you keep on going? How do you slow down when everything tells you to rush?
