I only just read them earlier this year myself. Confusedmile:

I used to poke fun at people in their 50's who would read them...but I must say the books are amazingly well done.

Now the Twilight series on the other hand......THAT'S a whole other kettle of fish Rolleyes

Pretty much anything by Jules Verne, but 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in 80 Days were two of my favorites. Also, The Phantom Tollbooth. I don't remember off the top of my head who wrote it, but that's still one of my favorite books.

I was big into the Hardy Boys. Can't remember a single thing about any of those books, but I remember reading the hell outta them.

scary stories to tell in the dark, i alwaysed liked the art work more than some of the stories.
