I was refereed to a website that is really quite interesting!
You download a program and you then select a project, when your pc goes into screensaver mode or is left idle for a few minutes (you can set the time) then the processor begins on working calculation towards research, in teh case of my chosen projects Fight Aids At Home (FAAH) my pc does processor work that researchers have set.
