I have just watched The Ouran High School Host Club series. And I Loved It. You really should watch it all. 26 episodes you'll be soo happy after watching.

Ive read the manga and watched some of the anime. Its a very cute genericish shojo but still with its own little thing.

It's a pretty decent reverse-harem shojo. The entire thing operates off of its self-aware use of every shojo cliche in the book, which is of course the humour of the thing. It would probably be difficult to appreciate if you're not already somewhat aware of the genre conventions it mocks.
Speaking of shojos, I used to like Fruits basket. Azumanga Daio is pretty funny too.
