Simply because the history of race relations in your country must have left a mark on the families of everyone, regardless of ethnic origins. I apologise for trying to oversimplify any analysis. Of course there were, and continue to be, many differences. Didn't mean to embarrass you.

I want to hug the guy from Ottawa. Oh Canada...

Now Ms Fox surely has something in a twist! Is she always such a bully?

I've just read the article that caused the fuss here and ... talk about mountains and molehills! Rolleyes

The stuff the newscaster couldn't repeat about the family of Sarah Palin has already been widely circulated as having been said by the daughter's boyfriend. Heather Mallick is either generally quoting members of the family or she explains the terms she uses. What's left is by no means the worst a politician might expect. Some of the discussion following the article sensibly points out that the public ownership of CBC allows it to have presented a far wider range of views than the privately owned Fox News Channel.

Does this mean the US establishment now has so much confidence from the obvious successes in the Middle East that it can turn its sights on sorting out Canadian democracy? Rolleyes Watch out, XRIMO, they're coming

Its really amazing how news stations like Fox leap on anything like this. The thing I liked about the video that I like is David Warren speaks calmly and doesn't necessarily agree with the article, but agrees with discussion of the issues, while the newswoman just rages that the article should be taken down.
Perhaps Fox news didn't really understand it, after all, it was well written, something Fox news isn't familiar with.

I am a huge Fox News evening programming fan! I dont really look for news on the TV standard channels but entertainment and Fox News has the best of all in entertainment!

It is odd that you find it amazing how such stations leap on things like this.. it is their bread and butter - pick and choose the facts should be their real motto.

That young lady has had an interesting career... I am not sure of her exact career climb but do remember her first being an expert in some field or another , could be law, and at that time she spoke very calmly and with knowledge. Now that she is a general commentator it seems that she has been put thru the Fox News school of screaming. Yes, very annoying indeed.

A legal background, eh? I suppose that makes some sense. How could she possibly be distracted by a different point of view when she is too busy talking over it?

Odd that Fox News hires a LOT of female Law specialist as newscasters...

The third best political comedy show is on Fox News and can be found on their site with many clips as well: Red Eye - extremely funny, irrlelivent, and gay friendly. Red Eye w/ Greg Gutfeld - FOXNews.com
