I don't know about charmed life, but when a flash flood took over the road, we were spared. We're grateful and give our thanks everyday.

Tinks, why are you so angry? There were several examples of people just going about their ordinary business when their paths were invaded by traffic. It was they who had charmed lives. You can't and shouldn't tar everyone with the same brush.
