This boy...
#1
Okay so i've been taking to this boy.
We've been to the cinema, gigs parties together.
He's beyond the nicest boy i've met.
And he completely understands things with my mental health.

Problem time...

He's 18.
I'm 14.

I tell him this and he simply says 'so...'
I tell him I won't be having sex with him.
He said 'I wouldn't want to until you're 16 anyway..even then only if you wanted to.'
He seems to good to be true.
I've asked my guardian what she thinks, she said he's really nice
and I should say yes, it's only 4 years.
I've asked my psychiatrist nurse, she says he's lovely and age shouldn't hold me back.

I say, aren't i too young for you?
He says he knows i know i'm 'wise beyond my years' and that i've had to mature up a lot over the past 6 months.

He's coming over in about 2 hours.
I REALLY want to say yes.
But i don't know if it's the right thing to do.
The people closest to me say it is...

Is it okay that he's 4 years older...?
3years older in July may i add. aha

Normally, age doesn't matter. But in this case.... oh boy, when I was 14, I was playing with my playmobile Roflmao

Let your heart decide, hm? Take your time. If you want a real answer, even so you will laugh:

Sit down on your bed and meditate. Let your thought flow away and listen to the voice of your heart.

If he's the right one for you and you think you are ready for a relationship, then why not?
But...He is 18, he should be horny all day. Don't let things happen you don't want.

That's my advice. Don't listen to the things the people around you think are the right things... do what you want and you need. Confusedmile:

Exactly my thought.

I'm not so bothered about him wanting sex, i'll know i'll say no.
He doesn't even want it until i'm 16.

But that means he might want it from somewhere else...
And i doubt an 18 year old can wait for year of celibacy...

He should be here in an hour, my friends and family think i should. Big Grin
Which is weird for them to care so much...

Dawn (my psychiatric nurse) siad it's all down to if I trust him...
and i do...
but then again if i'm in doubt clearly i don't.

Don't let doubts reign your life. Even if you were 28 he could cheat on you.

How long do you know him? If you want to be with him make it slowly. Check him out. If he starts pushing you to have sex, he will likely have sex. with or without you.
But if he doesn't and takes it as slow as you want, you are probably the luckiest boy in the world Wink

That's my opinion.

I've known him about 5 months.
We're really close friends.
as he's the only one will the balls to tell me to do something.
Everyone else treats me differently now.

He doesn't pressure me to go out with him.
He said he would like it if we were.
He said he'll talk to me when he gets here...
(15 minutes)
I'll let you know how it goes...
if it goes...
Smile

Thanks for replying.

Just my tuppence worth..

Trust is something that builds up over time, so are relationships. He sounds like a nice guy, even if he is a few years older than you, I'd suggest that you take things slowly, see how things work out but make sure he is clear on what you are not prepared to do.

Yeah he knows exactly where i stand.

It's not as if he's some random guy.

I met him through friends, we;ve been best friends for months.

He's helped me through a lot.
