What is tajin?
#11
Hello, perhaps I have misunderstood what you asked … For me a tajin is a marocco kitchen utensile, or the culinary speciality (ragout) prepared with *; so maybe those packets should be used for seasoning these culinary speciality, and not only on the apples*!

There are several tajins*: chicken tajin with lemon and olives, fish tajin, legumes tajin etc and traditionnally it's eaten using the right hand fingers (without fork nor knife)...

Nick...

I picked strudel as an example, thinking it to be more common in your region Nick.
While it is not an 'English word' I think it has adapted well to be accepted anywhere.
I use cinnamon or nutmeg with cooked/stewed fruit like apples or peaches.

I thought the same thing at first Christphe, but TAJÍN is a top selling Powdered Salsa in Mexico and the United States, most consisting primarily of chile peppers, lime, and salt, as opposed to a tagine, which is the Moroccan cooking pot with the cone shaped lid.
