LOL...of course I remember..I have it on vinyl...he original....and the version below...

....but I liked Gay Diva Pattie Brook's version of Popcorn from the late 70s the best...

...so tell me...this is a three song collage PA...do you remember the other two?

In the UK, in the early to mid 2000s, I think this was in one of those ads for polyphonic ringtones (I'm not 100% sure, though). It kind of feels like it is innate - it's a song everyone instinctively knows. I think Buddhists (or is it Hindus I'm thinking of?) claim that the 'om' thing came to them instinctively or through meditation or something like that. I think that's where this song came from, too.
