I'll watch the super bowl regardless. My best friend, Adam, is coming over to watch it with me. He is from Boston, and is a passionate Pats fan. I don't know which will be more exciting; the game itself or Adam screaming and cussing.

As to Madonna..."Madonna" and "Super Bowl" don't go too well together. I'm sorry but I don't think Madonna when I'm watching football.

And for the record, I hope the Giants DESTROY the Patriots. I'm a Ravens fan, so it would be epic to watch the Pats lose their fourth Super Bowl.

Even if they got a singer or band I'd want to listen to I'd only watch the half time show itself, not the Super Bowl (and I'd be content to catch it on YT). Great big guys slamming into other great big guys isn't my idea of fun, no matter who sings at half-time.

Funny thing...I always watch the Super Bowl but rarely watch the halftime show for some reason...

I will be watching the game for the first time tomorrow. Of course, the only reason I will be watching is to see Madonna perform at half time. I was going to set up a thread on this very topic in the music section and maybe discuss her new album. However, I thought that would be pushing my luck.

I really like Madonna as a person and an artist...I like her consciousness. I know she does a great show but alas...I have never liked her music except when she did Evita.

I worked in a gay nightclub for 20 years so I heard her blasting in my ears every night and it was all OK until the song "Vogue" came out...that sent me over the edge. You had to be there to witness people "vogueing"...they would all of a sudden pose...UGH...It was not pretty.

Having said that I think it would be interesting to watch her halftime performance so I will check it out.

I think it was cringe worthy enough watching her dancers doing that in `Truth Or Dare`, although, I was a little to young to experience the clubs when the single was a hit. I do appreciate where you are coming from though, still I am looking forward to tomorrow.

I always have the Super Bowl on. You could debate wether or not I'm "watching " it that closely. It's to much of a pop- culture touchstone to miss and I love anything that has to do with pop-culture. Plus the Giants are my favorite hometown team and Tom Brady's cute. Plus in High School football (the American version) was the only sport I could play as I lack speed and agility, they would just say " stand here and block that guy" and I'd do it, though there was no football team. My bf was a All-state" level wrestler. I don't know how he did it though, he's way too ticklish, hehe, if you just sneak up on him and touch his ribs or side, he jumps up and yelps!
