I use my hands, and I break and . Which may hint that I am a bit more advanced in the kitchen than the person using the bottle.
With my right hand, I crack and open the egg into my left hand with my fingers slightly parted, the egg white flows between my fingers into a hand bowl beneath, the yolk stays behind. Its a minor pause waiting for the whites to separate and drop from the yolk, plop the yolk in its own bowl, grab crack, and empty another egg my my hand for separation.
My method, I whip through a dozen eggs, one right after the other.
Separating yolks is about the only real use I have with my left hand ulnar claw thing going on. The ring and pinky fingers refusing to open all the way actually makes capturing the yolk easier.
This isn't to say for beginners in the kitchen using a bottle isn't a neat trick. It is kinda cool.
