^^^ That is brave Lex IMO...I have thought a lot about what stand up comics have to face. I finally settled on the feeling of skydiving and the parachute may or may not open....

That's perhaps a bit excessive. If the parachute doesn't open, you die. If my material bombs, I walk off stage to scattered polite applause from about fifty people I probably won't ever see again. Yeah, it was uncomfortable, and nowhere near the reaction I wanted, but it's survivable.

I got a long encouraging message from a (full-time) stand-up comic this morning, as well as an offer to perform (something non-comedic) later this month, so I'm feeling even more positive about the whole thing.

I have a design in my head... only problem is I do not know how to sew. Maybe if I design it I can get a friend of mine to help me.

Definitely. That'd be an awesome thing to do.
