I have started taking some guaifenesin (alias Mucinex) to help clear the gunk. Lots of water and off to bed as much as I can. I am wearing a groove between bedroom and bathroom. Worn out.

Warm fluids really do help and the guaifenesin is good stuff. I buy the generic version which is exactly the same thing as Mucinex and cheaper. The decongestant is not worth the powder and shot. Just messes you up. If I have a lot of nasal congestion and can't sleep, I do Afrin spray at night only for not longer than three days. Longer than that can trigger allergic rhinitis. If none of this puts a dent in itI go to the doctor. He may not be able to do much, but at least you can feel good that you exposed him to the cold.
