The animation also gets better.

The first seasons pack some really good episodes. Then it was cancelled for a while and returned some years later in which I reckon are its best seasons. Right around season 8 I dropped it a bit, it wasn't doing it for me anymore.

Thats how i feel about the simpsons, they sort of lost it as they have been going too long, i prefer like what their creator said the original hand drawn slides as the imperfections where adding effect to the show.
