Gee, you would think the notice would read "Less than devoted son of Mass Media."
It is an odd reminder, but the small town in which I was raised used to post similar funeral notices on two different buildings. The buildings were on opposite sides of the street and one side was for one of the two funeral homes and one side was for the other. This was all because the town had no daily newspaper and folks needed to know. Of course, the paper published obituaries weekly. They were great gossip fodder.
