Yeah there is a bit more to factor in than just GHz

Skylake is a bit of a joke really BUT, I decided to pull the trigger because Microsoft will not be supporting kabby lake and forward. I wanted to wait for amd Zen but microsoft made the decision for me

One thing skylake processors have going for them is the z170 chipset, I intend to get this

Its a big deal for me to stick to windows 7, I am boycotting Microsoft after that unless they start makeing things more choice friendly again and lay off the spyware/adware/forced updates and restarts.
In truth im coming from an overclocked i7 920 at 4.2 GHz, so almost anything is an upgrade haha.
